« Return to web portfolio Client: Benjamin's Rural Disposal Project: Redesign of existing site Web Address: www.benjaminsruraldisposal.com Project Scope: Benjamin's Rural Disposal provides waste collection for Canyon Canyon in S.E. Idaho. With recycling encouraged BRD is at the forefront of waste collection in Idaho. Locally owned and operated for three generations, all their trucks currently run on 20% biodiesel for cleaner air. They have also implemented a sharps recyling program for home use of needles that is the first of it's kind in Idaho. BRD will continue to look for inventive and creative ways to reduce waste flowing to landfills while providing high quality service to it's customers. Design components: This is a maintenance project for BRD as their site was difficult to get changes made in a timely manner and required more functionality which led to our involvement. We used the existing design that BRD was using which is the same design as their sister company, Sanitary Services Company that is the waste collector for the City of Meridian and added in new content and images and an email signup tool so their customers can receive notifications by email instead of postal mail.
